Hey everyone, Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and was able to focus on Christ this Christmas season!  This year for Christmas, as I'm here in Brazil serving a mission, I've been able to focus 100% on Christ's birth this past month. It's been really enlightening. One of the things I've found really interesting is his infinite love for us. While I was reading Jesus the Christ, I re-read a chapter called "the need for a redeemer", which I found super interesting. In it he compares how a plant can't change into a person alone, that plant would need some sort of outside force to change it into a human. It's the same way with us, we aren't able to be changed and advance into resurrection, if it weren't for a redeemer. It was needed for us to have Jesus be born as a man, pass through all the trials man passes through, to make the sacrifice for us to be able to become perfect beings.  As I was also studying this month in Alm...

Olá!!! Hope everyone's doing great!  This week has been a week full of work! Me and my comp have been trying our hardest to be the most obedient missionaries we can be.  We've seen so many miracles in our work!  I've been working a ton on growing my relationship with the Savior. I've been studying the Book of Mormon a lot and  this week my focus has been Alma chapter 36 verses 13-24. It's helped me so much to increase my faith in the work, and my desire to become better and to work harder. Being able to feel the spirit and see how my faith has grown this week has been amazing.  Even though we've had all of these incredible experiences with the spirit and missionary work, we've also seen the flip side and had a bunch of difficulties with helping  people progress.  It can be (and is) extremely frustrating, but really we know that if we keep working and putting in our all the Savior will help us and show us to the people he needs us to meet....

Hey everyone!!! This week was super fun, but I don't have a ton of time to write. This week we went to Juiz de Fora for a Christmas zone conference! It was super spiritual, we focused a ton on Jesus, because really he's the center of our work here.  After the conference we worked on finding a ton of new people becuase really we need it. We focused on feeling the spirit while we were finding, we went to this one street, and I really felt that there is someone that will be baptized on that street. So we did the only logical thing, and knocked the whole entire street. And we only found one family, which I think is exactly what I was feeling, so we're going back there on Wednesday and gonna focus on helping them find Christ!  I've also been reading a ton 3 Nephi chapter 11, if it's been a while since you guys have read it, or If not, you should really read it again, it's super good!
