1 Year!!!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a few weeks since I've written, but I'm still here, still alive!  Tomorrow (dia 28 de Março), I'll hit one year on my mission, which is wild. It only seems like it's been a month, but it's been the BEST year I've had in my life, HANDS DOWN.  I want to share a few things I've learned while I've been out here: 1. I've learned the language of Portuguese! Which In itself Is pretty cool, but for throes of who you knew me while I was in school know that learning a new language for me was an impossible task! Ever since I started learning, it hasn't been easy. I remember being in the MTC and how hard it was. But when I got here to the field, being forced to learn, showed me really how much God is here for me. I remember the first few months and how i just didn't understand anything. But, the more I tried learning, the more the Lord blessed me, and now I'm able to be here and speak with people!  2. Miracles are re...

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I've written y'all. Its been a hectic past few weeks! As you can see from the subject, theren have been so many miracles lately, I'll recount some for you guys!  First, a few weeks ago, we were at the church for some meetings we had. We were talking with each other about how we can find people to teach. We ended up leaving the chaple and when we got to the parking lot there was a member out talking with some dude. The member called us over, and told us that this guy wants to get to know the church a little! So we invited him in to give him a tour. After the tour, he said he loved it, we taught him about the book of Mormon. He told us it all makes a lot of sense, and then we invited him to be baptized, which he then accepted, and will be baptized this next Sunday!  Next miracle, we get these referrals from people online. And a while ago, we got one from a lady named Cleide. She's super interested in the church! We teach her...
