Hello everyone! This past week I got transferred, so now I'm in a bigger city called Lafaiete! Here is way different then anywhere else I've served, it's huge for one, but also we live with other elders in our city, which is so dope! My new comp is Elder McConkie, hes super cool, but he's also 6' 7" which is quite a bit taller then I am that also makes it super funny walking with him in the street. This past week we've been working super hard, just trying to find new people. Most of the peeps we've found aren't too interested in the church, but we did find luiz! He's sick, he's super interested in changing his life, he has a few addictions that are a little hard for him, but we're working through then with him! His house is discussingly gross, so last week we helped him clean.  But that's kinda my week it's been little hectic! Hopefully you all had a amazing week, love you all!!

This week, we didn't have a ton of time to work in our area sadly. But on Monday we had a really cool experience with this lady we've been teaching here name is Tâmara, we invited her to read 3 Nephi chapter 11, which talks about when christ came and visited the Amarecas and also a little about baptism. When we called her on Monday, after pday, we talked about The chapter she read and what she liked. She responded she loved when it talked about baptism, so we talked a little more about it, and she accepted to be baptized on the 15!!!  Other then that this week's been a little weird, we went to Juiz de Fora this wensday, which is where the mission home is. We went because we had zone confrance, which was a super awesome experience. This transfer is my trainers, Elder Zombranos, last transfer. So he goes home in like a week, which is super sad, but I'm glad he gets to move on with his life.  Not too much more really happened, it's been pouring almost everyday here, wh...

Hey everyone, hope y'all had a great New Years, and you are starting off the new year amazing!  This week was pretty wild here in Congonhas, we started out our week in Lafaiete, which is the closest bigger city here, and it's where we go every pday to hang out with the other Elders. On Tuesday we did a secret Santa with our district, which was hype! I got these dart guns which are dope!  Then I did an exchange with one of the assistants, his name is Elder Richardson. When I was back in Petrópolis he was my zone leader, so it was pretty sick to see him again.  When our week finally settled down a little bit it was New Years Eve. We started out the day with 15 visits marked, but slowly, one after another, they all said that today wouldn't work. But as we were going to one house, we walked past this bar, and there were a ton of people with handheld fireworks. As we were walking past these dudes they pointed the firework in the air right next to us. When it lit on fire it did...
