English

What's up dog!!

This week has been pretty dope! This week we had 2 English classes, and they were both super sick. In both of them we explained to everyone about English slang, because everyone that was there already spoke really well. And, it was during these classes that we realized how complex English was, and also where I realized I don't speak very well in English hahaha. Everyone was telling us that they could understand Elder Goldhardt way better then they could understand me hahahaha!

This week we had the amazing opportunity to help our friend João get baptized! That was super cool, while we were getting ready for the baptism with him, he mentioned to me that he was interested in serving a mission! This past week he's gone to seminary every day and was loving it! It's been so cool to see his life change these past few weeks. We found him 3 weeks ago while we were walking down the street going to one of our lessons. He heard us talking in English and wanted to come over to say hi! When we first met him, he was super depressed and sad about everything, but every time he went to church or seminary, he realized how happy it made him! We're working with him now so that he can get the priesthood!!

It's been a really fun week, lots of work, but very rewarding. This really is the Lord's work, and best place for everyone to be at! I love this gospel, and especially love the affect it has  on everyone's lives, including my own! I hope everyone has a great week, love you all!
