Book Of Mórmon Race

Hey everyone! 


These past few weeks have been fast. 
To start out this last week, on Tuesday, I was working with a different missionary in my area, and as we were walking around, we felt that we should knock some of the doors behind the chapel. So, as we were knocking we found some cool people, none that were super interested, until one of the last doors on the street. When we knocked on the door a man, around the age of 22, came out and started talking with us. We introduced ourselves and told him we have a message about Jesus Christ we would like to share with him and he let us in. When we were in we shared with him about the Book of Mormon, and invited him to read it. He really didn't seem that interested until we were about finished. We asked him if he had any doubts or any questions he wanted to ask, he told us that no, but two days before he was reading in the Bible, and read and felt that two angels would come to his house to help him! 


This past week we also went to the Zoo, that was cool! 


On Thursday my district here had a competition to see who could hand out the most Book of Mormon's. From the beginning of the day I already wanted to win, so I filled my backpack with 13 books, and 1 more in my hand! My comp had 9 in his bag and 1 in his hand! That slowly started killing us throughout the day, but in the end we won! We handed out 20 books and the next closest companionship handed out 13! We saw a ton of miracles by doing that, and hope that these people now will progress! 


I hope you all are doing amazing! It's getting closer to Christmas, so that means it's getting colder there, but here it is getting hotter!!!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been a little while since the last time I wrote. It's been a crazy few weeks.  So I'm here in my new area still São João Del-Rei, I've been assigned to this area for 3 weeks now, but only have been here physically for 2. The first week was super hectic, but the past two weeks have been amazing! Last week after finding a member that's been inactive for a little while, he led us to a few teens that have already been to church a few times! They are super super cool, they love the gospel and going to church! We had them on date to get baptized for this past Sunday, but sadly their mom doesn't feel like they're old enough to make the decision on their own, yet. E aí cachorro, como vai. What's up everyone!!! this week has been pretyy wild, let me explain... Tuesday (dia de cavalo)- every Tuesday we get home late in the day because we have to travel 2 hours from where our district meets for district meeting, so it's never a full day of missionary work. However, this Tuesday we got home especially late, at 1:00 and had to wait until 3 to eat lunch, so when we were finally ready to work it was already almost 5, a lot later than usual!! So all we did was a ton of street contacts.  We wanted to get to know an area of our city that we haven't seen yet, so we went for a walk on the freeway (you read that right, the FREEWAY!), which surprisingly had a bunch of people walking on it.
